TnHomeEd's E-list
Communities
TnHomeEd hosts three different e-list to
help you learn, share, keep you up-to-date, and facilitate networking
among Tennessee homeschoolers. You are invited to participate. When you
subscribe messages sent to the list are automatically sent to all the
list members via e-mail. We all get the chance to glean from the life
experiences of a variety of homeschoolers.
The original
TnHomeEd list
is a place of information sharing and encouragement for those parents
who home educate their children in Tennessee regardless of why or how
they school, who they are, what they believe or their membership status.
Everyone is welcome to discuss and learn from one another about
homeschooling. Please stay on topic (homeschooling and education issues
and questions).
The second list,
TnHomeEd-Chat , is a support list for homeschoolers in our state
to discuss a variety of topics from their Christian point of view. While
people of other faiths and belief systems will not be excluded and will
be treated with respect it's only fair to make it clear on the front end
that this will be the flavor of the list. This is a much more open forum
than the original list where folks can get to know one another on many
levels. This list would be a place to share what would be considered off
topic on the original list.
This would include but not be limited to: religion and politics (done
with grace and respect), recipes, looking for other resources (natural
foods,
pediatricians, church recommendations,
prayers request
etc.)

The
TnHomeEd-Brief
Currently in hiatus:
is intended for those who want to know
about important happenings in our community but do not have the time or desire
to wade through the original list.
The Brief is a newsletter
for the dissemination of important homeschooling and education issues for the
State of Tennessee. "Brief" is the operative word. It's publication is
entirely dependent upon circumstances to include what is happening in the
legislature and the life of it's publisher. |
